Irena's Vow
Friday, January 20th, 2012

They scribble notes onto their scripts and thick German accents fill their ears from the tapes playing. They must put forth every effort to get every aspect of the accent right. All of the early phases of a play are coming into place for the One Act Play students, who will be performing a play called “Irena’s Vow.”
Irena’s Vow takes place during the Holocaust, and it is a true story about a woman who hid 12 Jews under a Nazi General’s basement.

Tired of You
Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

The name ‘Justin Bieber’ isn’t foreign to anyone because it’s almost impossible to not hear of what he’s done. He started his career as a pre-teen YouTube sensation, became a pop star creating several hit songs, dated the lovely Selena Gomez, featured rap stars like Ludacris and Lil’ Wayne in his music. After all these little successes that just make me want to continue to not like Justin Bieber (no offense, Luda and Weezy) I heard a rumor that caused my skin to crawl. Bieber’s next album might be dubstep.

PC WINS!
Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

“WHAT!?!” the poor, deluded Mac addicts exclaim.  “That isn’t true!”  Actually it is (or can be at the very least.)  In terms of raw computing power, a PC will usually boast significantly higher performance than Macs at any given price.  The trade-off for the extra power at a lower price is somewhat lower build quality.

Duck season opened for the first time this year On October 29. Several people from Hallsville were at the lakes preparing for the season. Among these were senior Toby Hill.
“Last season there was plenty more ducks than there is this season,” Hill said. “There wasn’t a hunt last year that I didn’t kill at least five ducks. My best hunt this season was a two man limit of mallards out in Harleton.”

NY
Monday, January 9th, 2012

Everybody knows that Dec. 31 means that the year is over, and millions of people make their New Years resolutions. Only thousands succeed in reaching these goals before the next year, though. Here are a few tips for reaching your goals:
1. Do not over shoot the goal. Claiming that you are going to marry Justin Bieber is just plain stupid. The chances of that ever happening are slim to none, unless you are Selena Gomez or you kidnap him and force him to marry you.
